All cat owners must read these terms and conditions before boarding their cat(s) at Neko Suites.

Signing our booking form means that you understand and agree to all of the following conditions (in addition to the summarized Terms & Conditions in our booking form).

Signee certifies that ALL owners of cat/s are listed, have read, fully understand and agree to all terms and conditions of this Contract, agree to release Neko Suites its owners and Caretakers from all liability should owner’s cat/s sustain any illness or injuries, mild or severe while in the care of Neko Suites, and take full responsibility for payment of fees and any and all outstanding charges incurred by Neko Suites upon completion of services contracted, which shall be at time of pick up.

Cat owners who wish to board their cats with us are required to sign our booking form on the day of check-in at Neko Suites. Returning customers don’t have to sign the booking form again.

Your Cat(s)’ Health

To keep all cats boarding at Neko Suites as safe and healthy as possible, we have some rules we would like you to be aware of.

Please be aware that employees from Neko Suites do not have veterinarian experience or expertise. And thus, owner agrees that Neko Suites will not be held responsible for any diagnosis/ detection of illness or disease of/ for your cat(s) that you choose to board at Neko Suites.

Neko Suites reserves the right to reject any cat (or cats from the same household) that exhibit visible signs of sickness or pain (i.e. looks unwell).

1. Vaccination & Viruses

While we maintain a high standard of cleanliness at Neko Suites, cat owners should be aware that stressed cats and kittens have lower immunity and are therefore more likely to become sick with flu or other viruses.

We do strongly encourage all cat owners to bring their cats (especially kittens) for vaccination before boarding them too. But know that even vaccinations do not guarantee that your cat 100% protection.

If your kitten has not completed its vaccinations or your cat is exceptionally old (more than 10 years), do notify our staff and we will keep the cat(s) in their respective condos at all times for their protection.

2. Flea & Tick Prevention

When you bring your cat to Neko Suites for boarding, our requirement is that the cat(s) receive Frontline or similar flea and tick prevention.

You can bring your own preferred brand or we will use ours – we have both Bayer and Frontline (and you will be charged accordingly).

If our staff observe signs of pest infestation on your cat(s) such as flea or intestinal worm droppings or eggs, we will limit access to the common areas for the afflicted cat(s). This includes access to the playroom to prevent the spread of pests to other cats that are currently boarding at the hotel.

3. Neutering/ Spaying

It is not compulsory for your cat to be neutered or spayed before boarding at Neko Suites.

However, we will not release accept cats on heat. Or release any intact cats out from their respective condos if they cause trouble.

4. Ringworm

If your cat has ringworm, you must treat it at least 1 week before your cat’s stay at Neko Suites to avoid infecting other cats as ringworm is highly contagious.

To avoid the infection from spreading to other cats in the hotel, please inform our staff if your cat has recently been treated for ringworm.

5. Emergency Treatment

If your cat(s) becomes sick or injured and requires professional attention, or your cat(s)’ health demands quick action, you hereby authorize Neko Suites to have a veterinarian Neko Suites selects look at and treat the cat(s) for the cause and effect at your expense.

Neko Suites would not take your cat to your own vet under normal circumstances.

Neko Suites will attempt to reach you. If we cannot reach you, you authorize us to contact the individual designated as Emergency Contact. You agree that your Emergency Contact shall have your full and complete authority to make all decisions, including the expenditure of funds, for or on behalf of you and your cat(s).

Reservations & Payment

  • We require a deposit (one day’s fee of your total charge) if you wish to reserve dates for boarding your cat(s). This deposit is fully refundable at least 5 days before your cat’s actual check-in date.
  • You agree to pay Neko Suites for the services provided to your cat(s) during each visit, all costs and charges for special services requested, and all veterinary/medical costs obtained for the cat/s during the boarding at the sole discretion of Neko Suites, at the rates in effect on the date cat/s is checked into the Neko Suites (as posted in Neko Suites) at the start of such visit (collectively the “charges”).
  • Anticipated charges for reserved services are due at time of check-out
  • If Owner returns home early, payment is due in full for the dates reserved and no refund or credit will be issued. All outstanding charges are due and payable upon completion of services, which will be at check-out.
  • No cat/s will be released to Owner/s until all outstanding charges are paid.

Late And Overdue Payment

  • Check out day (until 6pm) will be charged as a full day of boarding. After 6pm, additional charges will apply.
  • If the owner, assigned guardian or emergency contact doesn’t show up to pick up the owner’s cat(s), the owner will be charged accordingly for every day past the initially agreed check-out date plus a late fine of RM30.
  • If Neko Suites is unable to contact the owner, assigned guardian or emergency contact after 5 days after the check-out date has passed, the cat(s) will be considered abandoned.
  • Neko Suites reserves the right to report suspected cases of animal neglect and abuse. This includes suspected abandonment.


  • Owner expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Neko Suites.
  • The Owner further agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts of behavior of said cat(s) while it is in the care of the Neko Suites.
  • All cat(s) are boarded or otherwise handled or cared for by Neko Suites without liability on Neko Suites’ part for loss or damage from transferring of parasites from one cat to another cat, death, running away, theft, fire, injury to persons, other cat(s), or property by said cat(s), or other unavoidable causes, due diligence and care having been exercised.
  • Owner hereby agrees to release Neko Suites from any liability for injury, loss, or death of cat(s) from any causes other than our negligent acts or omissions.
  • If Neko Suite’s negligent acts or omissions are the cause of owner’s cat(s)’ injury, loss or death, then Neko Suites’s liability shall be limited to the lesser of the chattel value of owner’s cat(s) or RM500.
  • Owner and Neko Suites expressly agree that Neko Suites’ liability shall, in no event, exceed the lesser of the current chattel value of a cat of the same breed or the sum of RM500.00 per cat boarded.


  • Occasionally, photographs or video footage may be taken of cats that are staying at Neko Suites. Owner gives permission for any resulting photographs or videos of Owner’s cat/s to be used for advertising or educational material, understanding that the resulting photographs or videos are the sole property of Neko Suites.
